When I was a little girl my grandparents practically raised me. Both of my parents worked full time so my grandparents would take me back and forth from school, all while making sure I had plenty of fast food in between :p

What I am most grateful for are those afternoons spent curled up under my grandma's desk as she designed just about anything you can imagine for our family's print shop clientele. It was in those quiet moments that I watched her every move, awestruck at how it seemed she had the world at her fingertips, or should I say a good ol' 80's Macintosh.

As the years passed, I found myself asking for new software for Christmas instead of toys. My father soon picked up on my love for tech and began teaching me about computers, and before long I had taught myself how to use the Adobe Suite. In school I began to pursue business, finance and coding classes.

I was eager to learn anything I could that would help me improve my newfound artistry. Upon entering college I decided to minor in graphic design. This was my first experience developing and leading design teams and it was truly exhilarating. Just a few short years later we welcomed our precious baby boy into the world and my heart broke at the thought of ever having to leave him to go back to work. I knew I needed to come up with a new way to pursue my work. This was the moment my vision for Alisabeth Designs was birthed. Not only did I see a huge need in the industry for affordable design services for small business owners, but I also believed the standard of excellence had to be raised.

Without hesitation, I spent the weekend developing what I could've never imagined would later become a life-giving, impact-driven, heart-felt business. And just two years later, all I can think about is how grateful I am that this opportunity has lead me here to you. If you've stuck around this long, thank you. It means so much to me that you would want to get a glimpse of my heart, and I hope that through reading this you have identified with my story in some special way. I am truly honored to tell the story of other creatives and I sincerely look forward to serving you.

THE AD TEAM

at your service

After six years as the editor for a Philadelphia news publication, Amanda blended her love for telling stories and design into a passion for serving clients through website design and copywriting. She’s a big believer that beautiful websites only go so far with mediocre messaging and loves helping AD clients make the most of both.

You’ll never find Amanda without a caramel flavored iced coffee in-hand, and when she’s not working (which is rare, cause she can’t get enough), she's spending time with her husband and toddler son.

Kayla is a highly caffeinated toddler mom obsessed with creating beautiful brands! She's a Jesus loving, coffee obsessed, country girl who's always singing. She embraced the freelance life when her husband joined the Marine Corps and loves working from home! After her family moved back to their hometown in NC, she joined the Alisabeth Designs team as a Branding Designer and is loving every minute of it.

In her down time she's either leading worship with her husband at church, playing softball, or spending time with the people she loves most.

Branding Executive

Kayla Batista

After a lifetime of drawing any chance she could and receiving her degree in illustration, Lauren became a part time freelance illustrator right out of college. Combining her love of visual storytelling and hand lettering, she decided to take her love of branding full time after becoming a mom. She’s committed to creating custom imagery that not only resonates with AD clients, but also their ideal clients. When Lauren isn’t creating, you can find her at home spending time with her husband and their two young kiddos. She’ll probably be wearing yellow, watching way too much TV, and sipping on some sweet tea.

Jade wears many hats in her different design jobs and is always ready to learn something new! She’s perpetually obsessed with the newest Pantone color of the year (it’s Living Coral by the way) and any whimsical font. She's a South Carolina girl, having grown up by the ocean, but has a serious case of wanderlust.

When she's not designing or traveling in her newly renovated RV, you can find her hanging out with her rescue pups or reading in a little cafe somewhere, usually while eating a piece of cake!
