When I was a little girl my grandparents practically raised me. Both of my parents worked full time so my grandparents would take me back and forth from school, all while making sure I had plenty of fast food in between :p What I am most grateful for are those afternoons spent curled up under my grandma's desk as she designed just about anything you can imagine for our family's print shop clientele. It was in those quiet moments that I watched her every move, awestruck at how it seemed she had the world at her fingertips, or should I say a good ol' 80's Macintosh.

As the years passed, I found myself asking for new software for Christmas instead of toys. My father soon picked up on my love for tech and began teaching me about computers, and before long I had taught myself how to use the Adobe Suite. In school I began to pursue business, finance and coding classes. I was eager to learn anything I could that would help me improve my newfound artistry. Upon entering college I decided to minor in graphic design. It was an absolute thrill to work alongside industry professionals as an apprentice and continue to perfect my craft. I began working for various non profit organizations as their creative director. This was my first experience developing and leading design teams and it was truly exhilarating. Just a few short years later we welcomed our precious baby boy into the world and my heart broke at the thought of ever having to leave him to go back to work. I knew I needed to come up with a new way to pursue my work. This was the moment my vision for Alisabeth Designs was birthed. Not only did I see a huge need in the industry for affordable design services for small business owners, but I also believed the bar had to be raised.

Without hesitation, I spent the weekend developing what I could've never imagined would later become a life-giving, impact-driven, heart-felt business.
And now almost ten years later, all I can think about is how grateful I am that the opportunity to serve others has lead me here to you. If you have stuck around this long, thank you. It means so much to me that you would want to get a glimpse of my heart, and I hope that through reading this you have identified with my story in some special way. I am truly honored to tell the story of other creatives and I sincerely look forward to serving you.

Kayla is a highly caffeinated toddler mom obsessed with creating beautiful brands! She's a Jesus loving, coffee obsessed, country girl who's always singing. She embraced the freelance life when her husband joined the Marine Corps and loves working from home! After her family moved back to their hometown in NC, she joined the Alisabeth Designs team as a Branding Designer and is loving every minute of it. In her down time she's either leading worship with her husband at church, playing softball, or spending time with the people she loves most.
When most girls her age were playing with Barbies, Rachel was sneaking her family's camcorder to film videos, drawing out extensive home plans, and creating a family newsletter in Adobe Illustrator. She knew she was created for more and took a leap of faith - stepping away from corporate America to pursue her passion for all things design.
When she's not behind the computer, you can find her in a messy bun + sweats watching The Office for the twentieth time, checking out local craft breweries, and spending time with her husband, their sons, and their furry baby, Gilbert!
Jade has worn many hats over the course of her creative career. From working in the corporate setting with clients like Bank Of America to now working with amazingly creative designers and clients one-on-one, Jade has spanned the gamut of design. After walking away from a corporate design job, Jade dove head first into freelancing and hasn’t looked back since! She can’t imagine walking into an office ever again and absolutely adores being able to work from the road in her renovated RV. When she’s not designing, you’ll probably find her tucked away in a little coffee shop, drinking coffee and eating cake or searching out the perfect craft cocktail (or mocktail) at any of the local vibey spots wherever she happens to be traveling.
Using her sister’s laptop during her second maternity leave, Corrie sent a pitch email to her first client. A month later, she started working with that client, taking courses, and growing her copywriting business to allow her to comfortably leave her full-time teaching job (and rock those babies at naptime). Now, Corrie helps entrepreneurs capture the essence of their brand with personalized, humanized copy. She's a fan of Ted Lasso, her family, and anything written by Anne Lamott.
Robyn left her job as a hairstylist after she realized it wasn’t helping her reach her ultimate goal - getting to stay at home and raise tiny redheaded humans. What began as testing out the waters in the world of freelance quickly became a love for website development and serving other mamas with excellence. When she’s not building websites or doing her best to serve Jesus, you can find her going on coffee shop dates with her husband and toddler, daydreaming about a one-day acreage, or debating whether she would’ve been a midwife or a Broadway actress in another life.
