I am thrilled to share my top 3 COMPLETELY FREE resources for Branding & Website Design!

I use these 4 platforms on a daily basis and they have completely changed my workflow and business. Here are my top picks for designers or creatives looking for FREE design tools to simplify your life:

1 – CANVA

First of all, when you’re in a pinch and need a quick graphic but don’t want to spend the extra time in Illustrator/Photoshop you can jump right over to Canva and use their amazing FREE templates! Using Canva, you can create social media graphics of any kind! (think Insta Square, Pinterest Banner, Facebook Banners, Business Cards, Brochures, the list goes on…. and on…)

This is a resource I even use for my clients collateral if they need editable files! YUP – you can totally print off your new creations in high-res, just make sure you download the PDF (for print) file! You can easily share the files with others via email or the direct link option! If you want to be able to use your own custom / branded fonts (check out my fav font resource – Creative Market) you can simply upgrade to an inexpensive ($10 mo) paid account to add your own (wayyyyy cheaper than Photoshop)!

2-UNSPLASH

YA’LL – this is literally my MOST USED RESOURCE like… ever! Why? Because it is the most magical pool of completely FREE STOCK photography (that doesn’t suck or look phony)! Amazing photographers from all over the world submit their work to this site every week, that means fresh, new content on the regular! Unsplash has everything from flat lays to perfect landscape shots, and even photographs that relate to industry specific niches!

3- UNUM

You’re probably like uhh.. how does this relate to design? Well, designing your Instagram feed is quite important given that it is one of the first places you interact and hopefully impress your clients! You can use the FREE UNUM app on your phone to plan out your Instagram feed and review analytics! Planning your feed can be daunting, especially with all the picture perfect feeds we are constantly inundated with, but UNUM makes it easy to see all of your posts at once, easily swap images, add captions, and schedule!

4. Creative Market

Totally saved the best for last! I’m sure you read my little side note above about Creative Market above… But, let’s just take a second to talk about all the amazing, free goodness this site has to offer! Simply sign up for a free account, and you’ll receive FREE downloadable resources every single week! From fonts, to resume templates, social media packs, gorgeous illustrations and more! Not only will you have access to a new set of freebies regularly, but you can also sync them straight to your Dropbox account! PRAISE HANDS! As Maui from Moana would say, You’re Welcome! 😉
