You’re a photographer doing your thing online. You’re all up in the instagram stories, posting your work with all the right hashtags, Dm’ing potential clients like there is no tomorrow, but your website…. crickets. “Sarah, why is my website not converting?” I hear it ALL. THE. TIME. Well friend, today I am going to answer that question for you. 😉
See what you might be doing is all too common. You may have a pricing or investment page with the bare-bones pricing and package info, but what you might not have is ESSENTIAL to the conversion of your website. And that my friends is…… an experience page. 🖥
The reason this doesn’t work is because it does not showcase the value of the service being offered whatsoever. Even the connotation of the word experience versus pricing is drastically different and compels you to want more information rather than pricing, which sounds well… boring. 🤷🏻♀️
Think about when you go on vacation and the cruise line tries to sell riders packages whether it be jet skiing, parasailing or a banana boat ride. 🚤A cruise line does not offer pricing they offer experiences. In this instance one word can make a huge difference and ultimately lead a client into falling in love with your experience and booking you vs someone else.
When you are reading through someone’s website and you begin to learn about the details of an experience you’re about to purchase it makes you so much more inclined to invest rather than having to search for more information or even send an email to request that information. Instead of only listing the basics, try showcasing what makes your experience unique and how you go above and beyond to make sure your clients enjoy their time with you. Trust equals sales!
Now, go build out that experience page and start getting the conversions you’re dreaming of!
A great idea! Do you have an example experience page for inspiration?
